Andrea Di Stefano is editor of the monthly Italian finance, ethics and economy magazine Valori sponsored by Banca Etica. Author of the Radio Popolare show  Il giorno delle Locuste, he writes on Italian daily Repubblica, Affari&Finanza section, comments on the column Opinioni Personal Economist on D magazine in Repubblica, collaborates with the Espresso Group Local Newspapers Agency (AGL) and shares his opinions on the tv network Rainews 24. He began his journalistic career on Milan’s Radio Popolare as writer of the labor union column, to then become manager of that column before moving on to Provincia Pavese. He worked on the economy pages of daily Il Manifesto, at the AGL and at the Milan office of La Repubblica. He is the author of the first investigation on mafia and waste management for the monthly La Nuova Ecologia, edited at the time by Paola Gentiloni, and he then collaborated with the weekly Cuore, where he published the first reportage on the dumping of nuclear waste in the ocean floor.
