Valeria Gentile is a freelance blogger, reporter and photo-reporter with a degree in Media and Journalism. She is the founder of the reportage blog Altri Occhi – her reportages have been published here, including those on the homeless of Florence, the power of the Vatican, the illegal waste dumps in the Campania region of southern Italy, the earthquake in Abruzzo, the proposed new bridge between Sicily and the Italian mainland and the recent mudslide in Messina. She did an internship at Colors Magazine and writes for Peacereporter, Carta, Altri and Le Voci del Villaggio. She also writes the creative writing blog Creativity&Communication.
