Javier Moreno is editor of the Spanish daily El Pais. In 2007 he oversaw the biggest ever transformation in the newspaper’s history, incorporating a radically new graphical layout and full integration with the online edition. He began his career as business correspondent of El Pais in 1992 before becoming business editor in 1999. He was editor of the Spanish business daily Cinco Dias from 2003 to 2006.
