Antonio Paolini is an Italian economics journalist and food&wine critic. He has been covering and writing about agroeconomy, wine and cuisine for almost 30 years. He wrote and co-wrrote tens of national restaurant and wine guides and various books on food&wine (the last published: La terra si racconta – Abruzzo, with Roberta Corradin). He is in the management commitee of the Guida Espresso and among the coordinators of Vini Buoni d’Italia (Touring publisher). Since the year 2000 he has judged at the Wines of World Competition in Los Angeles and since 2005 at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles. In Rome, he co-founded the tasting team Accademia degli Insensati. In 2008 he received the Premio Veronelli. He is the technical consultant for Linea Verde, a television show on cuisine and culture for Italian public broadcaster RaiUno.
