Luc Bovens is Professor and Head of Department in the Department of Philosophy, Logic and Scientific Method at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Professor Bovens’ research interests are ethical theory, philosophy of economics, philosophy of public policy, rational choice and philosophy of probability. He is co-author with Stephan Hartmann of the Bayesian Epistemology (2003) and co-editor with Stephan Hartmann and Carl Hoefer of Nancy Cartwright’s Philosophy of Science (2007).
