Giacomo Pirozzi is an Italian photographer who has worked for UNICEF and other international aid agencies since 1990. He has lived in the Ivory Coast, Kenya and South Africa for 17 years and travelled and taken photos in no less than 105 countries. For UNICEF he has held photography workshops in a variety of countries. He works with the Panos Pictures agency of London and currently lives in Tuscany. He is the author and photographer of C’est ma taille qui m’a sauvé (1997), dedicated to the children who survived the genocide in Rwanda, Children of Africa (1999) and The Rights of Children (2009) with a preface by Mia Farrow, goodwill ambassador of UNICEF.
